Our Instructors
Dr. Karar is an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department at Khartoum University. He holds a PhD in Nano Photonics from Edith Cowan University in Australia and an MSc in Materials and Nanotechnology from Linköping University in Sweden. Dr. Karar has authored more than 10 journal articles, showcasing his expertise and contributions to the field.
Mrs. Abdullah is a Teaching Assistant at Khartoum University. She holds a B.Sc. in Economic and Social Studies from Khartoum University. With a background in community development at Plan Sudan Organization and the English Cultural Center, Mrs. Abdullah brings a wealth of experience to her teaching role.
Mr. Zkaria serves as a Board Advisor for the College of Business Administration at the American University UAE and is a member of the Blockchain Advisory Board. He is also the CEO of Market Trader Academy and has contributed articles to prominent publications like Investors magazine, Newsweek magazine, and the International Association of Energy Economics.
Mr. Alamawy is the Country Manager of Sabaek Bullion firm and the Head of Market Research at Aswag Almal. Additionally, he is the Head Trainer at Market Trader Academy. Known for his insights, he is a frequent guest on global financial outlets such as Bloomberg, CNBC, and SkyNews.
Mr. Abdelwahed is the Head of the Precious Metals Trading Desk at SAM Precious Metals. He holds a B.Sc. in Commerce and Accounting from Cairo University and has earned an ACI Dealing Certificate. His focus and expertise lie in Foreign Exchange (FX) and Strategic Planning.
Mr. Ahmed is the Global Head of Legal and Compliance at SAM Precious Metals in UAE. He is a specialist in Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime and has shared his expertise as a speaker at numerous conferences, including the India Gold Conference 2022 and the Dubai Precious Metals Conference 2022.
Mr. Ahmed is the Managing Partner and CEO of AKW Consultants. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 24 years of global experience specializing in Financial Crime Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, Responsible Sourcing, Tax Advisory, and Auditing. Mr. Ahmed has been a part of KPMG and PwC London, followed by roles at HSBC Middle East and London as Director and Global Head for Client Due Diligence for AML Compliance. He is also an accredited AML, Tax, and Accounting Trainer and an approved UAE Good Delivery Auditor for the Gold and Precious Metals Sector.
Mr. Khalkho is an experienced non-financial auditor, consultant, trainer, and investigator with nearly 27 years of multi-sectoral experience across South and Southeast Asia, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He has worked in industries such as retail, manufacturing, metal and mining, energy, pharmaceutical, and finance, among others. His expertise includes AML, corporate governance, business ethics, fraud investigation, social audit, SDG, ESG, EHS, CSR advisory, and supply chain compliance. Kenneth has completed the SA8000 Basic Lead Auditor Course and specialized training in Responsible Sourcing from DMCC.
